358 – How to Crochet Easy and Quick Lace Scarf – Pattern Tutorial

This is a very simple crochet pattern and is easy and quick to make. This crochet pattern is a repetition of 2 rows only.

You will need:

Total Yarn 100 g / 210 m/ 230 yds
Yarn Weight #2 (Fine)
Ball (50g) contains 105 m/ 115 yds
Hook Size 3.5 mm (US E/4, UK 9)

Size:

Width: 19 cm / 7.5 inches
Length: 130 cm / 51 inches

Terminology:

st – stitch
sts – stitches
CH – chain
SC – single crochet stitch
DC – double crochet stitch (yarn over the hook once)

Instructions:

To begin, chain 50 or any multiple of 6 plus 2.

Row 1: skip chain and make SC in every chain across.

Row 2: CH 6 and turn, skip 2 stitches and make SC in the next st., *CH 7, skip 5 sts, SC *repeat this process to the last 3 sts; CH 3, skip 2 sts and make DC in the last st.

Row 3: CH 3 and turn, DC in the first chain space, CH 3, *DC 3 in the middle of the next chain space, CH 3 *repeat this process to the last chain space; DC 2 in the last chain space.

Row 4: CH 6 and turn, SC in the next chain space, *CH 7, SC in the next chain space *repeat this process to the last 2 sts; CH 3 and make DC in the last st.

Rows 3 – 4 = Pattern

Continue repeat Rows 3 – 4, until you measure 130 cm / 51 inches.
If you want, you can make more rows to make the scarf longer.
