Hat crown is done.
Diameter: Approximately 17,1 cm / 6.75 inches
See the diameter for other sizes on the next slide.

Part 2: Body of the hat
In the following rows, I’m going to make single crochet stitches and I will not add any more stitches.
Put a stitch marker in the first stitch to know where the row starts. Make SC in every stitch across.
Repeat this process until you measure 17 cm / 6.6 inches from the top of the hat.

Part 3: Brim
Then I’m going to make the brim of the hat.
I’ll continue to make single crochet stitches.
Put a stitch marker in the first stitch to know where the row starts.
Rnd 1: First I’m going to make 4 single crochet stitches (put a stitch marker in the first stitch to know where the row starts). Then I’ll make an increase, so I’m going to make 2 SC in one stitch.
*SC 4, SC 2 in one st *repeat entire row
Rnd 2: I’m going to make 5 single crochet stitches (put a stitch marker in the first stitch to know where the row starts). Then I’ll make an increase, so I’m going to make 2 SC in one stitch.
*SC 5, SC 2 in one st *repeat entire row
Rnd 3: I’m going to make 6 single crochet stitches (put a stitch marker in the first stitch to know where the row starts). Then I’ll make an increase, so I’m going to make 2 SC in one stitch.
*SC 6, SC 2 in one st *repeat entire row
Rnd 4: In this row, I’ll make SC no more increases. I’ll make one SC in each stitch across.
Rnd 5 – 13: Repeat Rnd 4 (make SC in each stitch across)
6 cm / 2.4 inches
Make 2 slip stitches at the end of the last row.
