You will need:
Yarn 100 g / 210 m / 230 yds
Ball (100 g – 3.53 Oz) 210 m – 230 yds
Hook Size 5 mm (US H/8, UK 6)
Sewing needle
Stitch markers
Tape measure
Size:
Width = 25 cm / 10 in
Length = 45 cm / 17.6 in
Terminology:
st – stitch
sts – stitches
CH – chain
SC – single crochet
DCBLO – double crochet back loop only
SCBLO – single crochet back loop only
Instructions:
To begin make 36 chains
36 chains (Width = 25 cm / 10 in)
Row 1: skip a chain and make SC in every chain across. Total 35 SCs.
Row 2: SC in the back loop only (SCBLO) in the first stitch, CH one (It’s a first st.)
DC in the back loop only (DCBLO) in every stitch across. Total 35 sts
Row 3: SCBLO in the first stitch + CH one (It’s a first st.)
DCBLO in every stitch across. Total 35 sts
Row 3 = pattern
Continue repeating row 3 until the scarf is 45 cm / 17.6 in
Last Row: CH one and turn. Make SCBLO in every stitch across.
