You will need:

Yarn 200 g / 420 m / 460 yds
Ball (100 g – 3.53 Oz) 210 m – 230 yds
Hook Size 5 mm (US H/8, UK 6)

Size:

Width = 20 cm / 8 in
Length = 150 cm / 59 in

Terminology:

st = stitch
sts = stitches
CH = chain stitch
SC = single crochet stitch
DC = double crochet stitch

Instructions:
To begin make 35 chains or any multiple of 4 + 3

35 chains (Width = 20 cm / 8 in)

Rnd 1: skip 3 chains (CH) and make DC in the fourth CH. Make DC in every chain across. Total 33 DCs.

Rnd 2: turn and make one SC in the first st, CH 3, skip 3 sts, SC, *CH 3, skip 3 sts, SC *repeat this process to the end of the row

Rnd 3: CH 3 and turn, DC 2 in the first st, SC in the next SC st, CH 3, DC 3 in the same SC st, *SC in the next SC st, CH 3, DC 3 in the same SC st *repeat this process to the end of the row, SC in the last st.

Rnd 4: CH 5 and turn, skip 2 sts, SC in the 3th st, *CH 3, skip 2 sts, SC *repeat this process to the end of the row

Rnd 5: CH 3 and turn, DC 2 in the first st, *SC in the next SC st, CH 3, DC 3 in the same SC st *repeat this process to the end of the row. Make a SC stitch in the second chain (from the 5 chains from the previous rows)

Rnd 6: as Rnd 4 (CH 5 and turn, skip 2 sts, SC in the 3th st, *CH 3, skip 2 sts, SC *repeat this process to the end of the row)

Rnd 7: CH 3 and turn, DC 3 in the first chain three space, DC over SC, *DC 3 in the next chain three space, DC over SC *repeat this process to the end of the row,
DC 3 in the last chain five space and 1 DC in the second chain. Total 33 DCs.

Pattern = Rows 2 – 7

Continue repeating rows 2-7 until the scarf is the correct length.
