Instructions:

To begin, chains multiple of 4 + 2

Row 1: skip one chain and make a single crochet stitch in the second chain; make one SC in each chain across.

Row 2: CH 3 and turn, skip 2 sts and make one DC, one CH, one DC in the first skipped stitch working behind the previous stitch (2 crossed DC with chain), *one CH, skip 3 sts, one DC in the 4th st, one CH, one DC in the second skipped stitch working behind *repeat entire row, except for the last stitch; DC in the last st
