Terminology:
st – stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet stitch
DC – double crochet stitch (yarn over the hook once)
FPDC – Front Post Double Crochet

Instructions:

To begin, make chains multiple of 5

Row 1: Skip 3 chains and make one double crochet stitch in the fourth chain. Make one DC in each chain across.
Row 2: CH one and turn your work, make SC in the first stitch, SC one in the next two stitches, FPDC one in the next two sts, SC one in the next three sts, *FPDC one in the next two sts, SC one in the next three sts *repeat entire row
Row 3: CH one and turn, make one SC in each stitch across
Row 4: CH one and turn your work, make SC in the first stitch, SC one in the next two stitches, FPDC one in the next two sts, SC one in the next three sts, *FPDC one in the next two sts, SC one in the next three sts *repeat entire row
