You will need:

Total Yarn 150 g / 390 m/ 426 yds
Yarn Weight #2 (Fine)
Ball (50g) contains 130 m/ 142 yds (medium)
Hook Size 3.5 mm (US E/4, UK 9)

Size:
Width = 21 cm / 8.2 in
Length = 130 cm /51 in

Terminology:
st – stitch
sts – stitches
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet stitch
DC3Shell – (DC+DC+DC in one place)
DC3tog – DC 3 together

Instructions:

To begin, chain 42 or any multiple of 4 + 2

Row 1: skip chain and make SC in every chain across. Total 41 SCs.
Row 2: CH 3 and turn your work; DC in the next st, CH 5, skip one st, DC3tog *CH 5, skip one st, DC3tog *repeat to the last 3 sts; CH5, skip one st and make DC in the last two sts.

Row 3: CH 5 and turn, SC in the middle of the chains space (into the third chain), *CH 5, SC in the middle of the next chains space (into the third chain) *repeat to the last chains space; CH 2, DC in the last stitch

Row 4: CH 3 and turn your work; DC in the first st; CH, DC3Shell in the middle of the chains space (into the third chain); *CH, DC3Shell in the middle of the next chains space (into the third chain) *repeat this process; CH and make DC 2 into the third chain.

Row 5: CH one and turn; make SC in every stitch across.

Pattern = Rows 2 – 5
Repeat Pattern
Continue repeat Rows 2 – 5, until you measure 130 cm / 51 inches.
If you want, you can make more rows to make the scarf longer.
