You will need:
You can use any yarn and hook you have or love.
Terminology:
st. – stitch
sts. – stitches
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet stitch
DC – double crochet stitch
Puff st. – Represents a group of 3 incomplete stitches into the same stitch/place. When you finish crocheting the partial stitches you will then close the stitch by pulling the yarn through all of the loops, except for the last. Now, you have 2 loops on the hook. Make one loop from them.
Instructions:
To begin, chain 23 or any multiple of 5 + 3
Row 1: skip chain and make SC in every chain across.
Row 2: CH one and turn, SC in the next 2 stitches, CH 3, skip 3 sts and make SC in the next 2 sts., *CH 3, skip 3 sts, SC 2 *repeat this process to the end row.
Row 3: CH 4 and turn, skip one st, make Puff st. in the next 3 chains, *CH 2, skip 2 sts, Puff st. in the next 3 chains *repeat this process to the last two st; CH one and make DC in the last st.
Row 4: CH one and turn, SC in the next 2 stitches, CH 3, skip 3 sts and make SC in the next 2 chains, *CH 3, skip 3 sts, SC in the next 2 chains *repeat this process to the end row.
Rows 3 – 4 = Pattern
Continue repeat Rows 3 – 4
Last Row: SC stitches
