356 – Crochet 2 Rows Repeat 3D Scarf – Beginner Friendly Tutorial

You will need:

You can use any yarn and hook you have or love.

Size:
Width: 20 cm / 8 inches

Terminology:
st – stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet stitch
DC – double crochet stitch (yarn over the hook once)
TC – treble crochet stitch (yarn over the hook two times)

Instructions:

To begin, chain 45 or any multiple of 10 plus 5.

Row 1: skip chain and make SC in every chain across. Total 44 SCs.

Row 2: CH 3 and turn, DC in the next 3 sts, *skip 3 stitches, TC (Treble Crochet – yarn over the hook two times) in the next 3 sts; TC in the first skipped stitch, working behind the previous stitches. TC in the second skipped stitch, working behind the previous stitches. TC in the third skipped stitch, working behind the previous stitches. DC in the next 4 sts *repeat this process to the end row.

Row 3: CH 3 and turn, DC in the next 3 sts, *skip 3 stitches, TC in the next 3 sts; TC in the first skipped stitch, working in front of the previous stitches. TC in the second skipped stitch, working in front of the previous stitches. TC in the third skipped stitch, working in front of the previous stitches. DC in the next 4 sts *repeat this process to the end row.

Rows 2 – 3 = Pattern
