352 – Easy and Quick Crochet Blanket Pattern for beginners – Sımple Seed Stitch – ONE ROW REPEAT

You can see Step by step instructions and a video tutorial on how to crochet a very simple pattern. Both sides can be the right side. Only one row is repeated.
You can use this pattern for a blanket, scarves, and many other things.
It’s a very easy and fast project for beginners.

You will need:
You can use any yarn and hook you have or love.

Terminology:
st – stitch
sts – stitches
CH – chain stitch
HDC – half double crochet stitch
DC – double crochet stitch (yarn over the hook once)
FPDC – front post double crochet stitch
BPDC – back post double crochet stitch

Instructions:

To begin, chain 15 or any ODD number of chains

Row 1: skip chain 2 and make DC in every chain across. Total 13 DCs.
Row 2: CH and turn; make HDC in the first st. FPDC in the second st. BPDC in the next st. Alternate between FPDC and BPDC stitches except for the last stitch. HDC in the last st.

Row 3: CH and turn; make HDC in the first st. FPDC in the second st. BPDC in the next st. Alternate between FPDC and BPDC stitches except for the last stitch. HDC in the last st.

The stitch we make is always the opposite of the one in the row below.
The first and last stitch is always HDC
The second and stitch before last is always FPDC

Continue repeat Row 3.
