277 – DIY Tutorial How To Crochet Little Egg Baskets

You will need:
You can use yarn residues.
50 g = 131yds / 120 m of cotton yarn (Weight #2)
I’m going to use 2 colors of yarn.
Hook Size 3 mm

Terminology:
st – stitch
sl.st – slip stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet (yarn over the hook once)
V-st – DC+CH+DC in one st.

Instructions:

First I’m going to use a white-colored yarn.
Make 11 chains
Rnd 1: skip chain (CH); SC in the next 10 CHs; CH 3 (corner); SC in the next 10 CHs on the other side chains; CH 3 (corner), Connect with sl st.
Rnd 2: CH2 (it’s not stitch); DC 10, DC 8 in a corner, DC 10, DC 8 in a corner; Total 36 DCs.
Connect with sl st.
Now switch to a blue-colored yarn.
Rnd 3: CH 4 + DC in the first st; skip 2 sts, V-st, *skip 2 sts, V-st *repeat entire round; Connect with sl st.
Change back to a white-colored yarn.
Rnd 4: sl.st, CH 4 + DC over V-st; *V-st over V-st *repeat entire round; Connect with sl st.
Now switch to a blue-colored yarn.
Rnd 5: sl.st, CH3 + DC over V-st; *DC 2 over V-st *repeat entire round; Total 24 sts; Connect with a sl st.
Switch to a white-colored yarn.
Rnd 6: CH, SC entire round; Total 24 SCs. Connect with sl st.
Switch to a blue-colored yarn.
The last row: make SC stitches backward
