You will need:
You can use any yarn and hook you have or love.
I’m going to use two colors of yarn.
Terminology:
st – stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet (yarn over the hook once)
FPTC (Front Post Treble Crochet) – the stitch is worked from the second loop from the previous row
Instructions:
I’m going to use two colors of yarn.
First I’m going to use red-colored yarn.
To begin, it’s necessary to make a chains (CHs). Multiple of 4 plus 1
I’m going to make 17 chains (multiple of 4 plus 1)
Row 1: skip three chains, double crochet stitch (DC) in the fourth chain; DC entire row.
Total 15 sts. Turn your work.
Now switch to a lilac-colored yarn.
Row 2: CH one, SC into the next 3 sts; FPTC (the stitch is worked from the second loop from the previous row); skip st, SC into the next 3 sts, *FPTC from the second loop from the previous row, skip st, SC into the next 3 sts *repeat entire row
Row 3: CH 3 (as the first stitch), DC entire row;
Change back toa red colored yarn.
Row 4: CH one, SC into the next 3 sts; FPTC (the stitch is worked from the second loop from the previous row); skip st, SC into the next 3 sts, *FPTC from the second loop from the previous row, skip st, SC into the next 3 sts *repeat entire row
Repeat Rows 3 – 4
Changing colors
Row 1: red-colored yarn
Rows 2 – 3: lilac–colored yarn
Rows 4 – 5: red-colored yarn
Keep changing colors in this way.
