276 – DIY Tutorial How to Crochet Summer Blouse

On this page, you can see step by step instruction and a video tutorial on how to crochet the lacy summer blouse. Easy to make.
To crochet this pattern, you will need to know how to 1) crochet a chain 2) crochet a single crochet stitch 3) crochet a double crochet stitch, 4) crochet a half double crochet stitch, and 5) crochet a treble crochet stitch

You will need:

Hook Size 3.5 mm
Cotton Yarn 350 g / 875 m / 959 yds
(7 balls of cotton yarn. Each ball contains 137 yds / 125 m)

Terminology:
st – stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet
HDC – half double crochet
DC – double crochet (yarn over the hook once)
TC – treble crochet (yarn over the hook twice)

Size: L

Width = 52 cm / 20.4 in Length = 54 cm / 21.2 in

First, I’m going to make piece one (FRONT)

I’m going to make 110 chains (for size L). Multiple of 5.

If you need a different size, feel free to either add or subtract from this chain number.
You can easily customize a blouse to your liking.

Different sizes:
S = 90 chains
M = 100 chains
L = 110 chains
XL = 120 chains
XXL = 130- chains

Multiple of 5 for all sizes.

Instructions:
Row 1: skip 3 chains (CH 3 as first st); double crochet stitch (DC) entire row; Total 108 st. Turn your work
Row 2: CH one; single crochet (SC) into the first st., SC entire row; Total 108 SCs.Turn your work.
Row 3: CH 3 (as first st); DC entire row; Total 108 SCs.Turn your work.
Row 4: CH one, SC into the first st, CH one, skip one st, SC into the next st, *CH 3, skip 2 sts, SC, CH one, skip one st, SC *repeat this process entire row; Turn your work.
Row 5: CH 5, TC (treble crochet st) in the first chain one space, DC in the next chain 3 space, *TC 2 with CH 2 into the next chain one space, DC in the next chain 3 space *repeat this process; TC in the last chain one space, CH, TC in the last stitch. Turn your work.
Row 6: CH one, SC into the first st, CH, SC over TC, CH 3, skip st, SC over the next TC, *CH, skip 2 chains, SC over the next TC, CH 3, skip st, SC over the next TC *repeat this process; CH one and make SC into the second chain. Turn your work.
Row 7: CH 3 (as first st); DC into the first chain one space, DC over SC, *DC 2 into the next chain 3 space, DC over SC, DC into the next chain one space, DC over SC *repeat this process entire row

Pattern = Rows 4 – 7

Rows 8 – 59 = Repeat Rows 4 – 7

Shoulder pieces (FRONT)

Row 1: CH one, SC in the next 7 sts; HDC in the next 6 sts; DC in the next 6 sts; TC in the next 8 st.
Make the other piece of the shoulder in the same way.
The front is now done.

BACK = FRONT

Connect the shoulder pieces. Use the sewing needle and yarn.
Measure 19 cm / 7.5 inches from the top and put the stitch marker.
Connect the front and back pieces with sewing needle and yarn.
