You will need:
Hook Size 4 mm
Cotton Yarn 250 g (5 balls of yarn. Each ball contains 106 yds/ 97 m)
Size:
Width = 20,5 cm / 8 in
Length = 150 cm / 59 in
Terminology:
st – stitch
CH – chain stitch
DC – double crochet (yarn over the hook once)
Shell – DC 5 in one stitch
Instructions:
To begin, it’s necessary to make a chains (CH). Multiple of 10 plus 3
I’m going to make 43 chains. Multiple of 10 plus 3
You can easily customize scarf to your liking.
Row 1: skip 3 chains (as first stitch), double crochet stitch (DC) in the next chain; DC entire row. Total 41 sts. Turn your work.
Row 2: CH 4, skip st, DC, skip 2 sts, Shell, skip 2 sts, DC, CH, skip st, DC, *CH, skip st, DC, skip 2 sts, Shell, skip 2 sts, DC, CH, skip st, DC *repeat entire row
Row 3: CH 3 (as first st), DC entire row; Total 41 sts. Turn your work.
Row 4: CH 3, DC 2 into the first st, skip 2 sts, DC, CH, skip st, DC, CH, skip st, DC, skip 2 sts, *Shell, skip 2 sts, DC, CH, skip st, DC, CH, skip st, DC *repeat entire row; skip 2 sts, DC 3 in the last st. Turn your work
Row 5: CH 3 (as first st), DC entire row; Total 41 sts.
Pattern = Rows 2 – 5
Repeat Rows 2 – 5
