You can see Step by step instruction and video tutorial how to crochet a baby booties. This is a very simple crochet pattern and easy to make. It’s extremely soft and comfortable.
You need to know how to crochet Chain Stitch, Single Crochet, Double Crochet, Half Double Crochet and Slip Stitch.

You will need:
Hook Size 4 mm 
Total Yarn 50 g
100 g – 262 yds/ 240 m
100 g – Oz 3.53

Size:
0 to 3 months: measure sole 3.5 ” / 9 cm
3 to 6 months: measure sole 4 ” / 10 cm
6 to 9 months: measure sole 4.5 ” / 11.5 cm
9 to 12 months: measure sole 5 ” / 12.7 cm

Terminology:
st – Stitch
sl st – Slip Stitch
Rnd – Round/Row
CH – Chain Stitch st
SC – Single Crochet st
DC – Double Crochet st
HDC – Half Double Crochet st
5DCShell – DC 5 all into the same stitch

Instructions:
4 chains in a circle (connect with a sl.st)
Rnd 1: CH 2 (does not count as a stitch); HDC 12 into the center of the ring; Connect with a sl.st; Total 12 DC
Rnd 2: CH 2 (does not count as a stitch); HDC 2 into the first stitch; HDC 2 in each stitch until the end of the row. Connect with a sl.st; Total 24 DC
Rnd 3: In this round we are going to be starting the shells. The number of loops multiple of 6.
CH, SC in the first st, skip 2 sts, Shell (DC 5 all into the same stitch), skip 2 sts, *SC, skip 2 sts, Shell, skip 2 sts *repeat that all the way around; skip 2 sts and connect with a sl.st.
Rnd 4: CH 2 (does not count as a stitch); Shell in the first stitch (DC 5 all into the same stitch); SC into the top or middle of the shell from last round; *Shell over SC; SC into the middle of the Shell *repeat this process; Connect with a sl.st
Rnd 5: 2 slip sts; CH one and make SC into the middle of the shell; Shell over SC; *SC into the middle of the Shell; Shell over SC * repeat this process; Connect with a sl.st
Rnds 6 – 7: Repeat rounds 4 and 5
Row 8: CH 2 (does not count as a stitch); HDC into the next 19 sts; Turn
Rows 9-12: CH 2 (does not count as a stitch); HDC into the next 19 sts; Turn
To make it larger or smaller all you need to do is alter the number of rows!

Now, we are going to form the heel.
Row 13: CH 2 (does not count as a stitch), HDC into the next 6 sts, DC2tog, HDC into the next 3 sts, DC2tog; HDC into the next 6 sts, Turn
Row 14: CH 2 (does not count as a stitch), HDC into the next 5 sts, SC2tog, HDC into the next 3 sts, SC2tog; HDC into the next 5 sts, Turn
Row 15: CH 2 (does not count as a stitch), HDC into the next 4 sts, SC2tog, SC3tog, SC2tog, HDC into the next 4 sts
This is the heel.

Before we sew the heel, we’ll make an edge around the slipper.

Rnd 1: 8 SC + 1 SC in a corner, 7 SC above the shell (2 SC + 3 SC in one st, + 2 SC) + 1 SC in a corner + 8 SC; Total 25 SC. Connect with a sl.st
Rnds 2 – 4: CH, SC 25 around, Connect with a sl.st

Sew the heel.
