445 – Easy Crochet Pattern for Beginners – Only one row

You will need:
You can use any yarn and hook you have or love.

 

Terminology:

st – stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet stitch
Shell = SC + CH 2 + SC

Instruction:

I’m going to use two colors of yarn.

To begin make chains.

Foundation chain: odd number (2+2+2+2….+1)

One color of yarn

Row 1: Skip a chain and make one single crochet stitch in the second chain. Make SC one in each chain across.

Row 2: CH 2 and turn, Shell in the next stitch, skip stitch *Shell, skip st,*repeat this process to the end of the row, SC in the last st.

Another color of yarn

Row 3: CH 2 and turn, Shell in the middle of the next shell, *Shell in the middle of the next shell *repeat this process to the end of the row, DC in the last st.

Repeat Row 3

Change yarn color every two rows.
