Terminology:

st – stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet stitch
DC – double crochet stitch
DC2tog – double crochet two stitches together

 

Instruction:

 

To begin make chains.

Foundation chains: Even number (2+2+2+2…)

Pink yarn color

Row 1: Skip a chain and make one SC stitch in the second chain. *CH, skip CH, SC *repeat this process to the end of the row

Row 2: CH 3 and turn, DC2tog in the first chain space, CH, DC2tog in the next chain space, *CH, DC2tog in the next chain space *repeat the entire row except for the last stitch; DC in the last st.

White yarn color

Row 3: CH 2 and turn, DC in the first chain space, DC in the first st, *DC in the next chain space, DC in the previous chain space *repeat the entire row except for the last stitch; DC in the last st.

Row 4: CH one and turn, SC in every stitch across.

Pink yarn color

Row 5: CH one and turn, SC in the first st. *CH, skip st, SC *repeat this process to the end of the row

Row 6: CH 3 and turn, DC2tog in the first chain space, CH, DC2tog in the next chain space, *CH, DC2tog in the next chain space *repeat the entire row except for the last stitch; DC in the last st.
