Terminology:
st – stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet stitch
Cluster st. – Make a group of 2 incomplete stitches in 2 subsequent stitches. You will then close the stitch by pulling the yarn through all of the loops, except for the last. Now, you have 2 loops on the hook. Make one loop from them. The cluster stitch is triangular in appearance.
Instructions:
To begin, make chains (multiple of 2) 2+2+2+2…
Row 1: skip chain and make single crochet stitch (SC) in the second chain, SC in every chain across.
Row 2: CH 3 and turn, Cluster st. in the next 2 stitches, *CH one, Cluster st. in the next 2 stitches, *repeat to the end of the row, DC in the last st.
Row 3: CH one and turn, SC in every stitch across
The number of SC stitches in the first and third rows must be equal.
