Instructions:

To begin, chains multiple of 4 + 2

Row 1: skip one chain and make a single crochet stitch in the second chain; make 3 CHs, skip 3 CHs, SC, *CH 3, skip CH 3, SC *repeat the entire row.

Row 2: CH 3 and turn, DC 3 in the next chain space, 4th DC behind of the 3 made DCs, *DC 3 in the next chain space, 4th DC behind of the 3 made DCs *repeat entire row; DC in the last st.

Row 3: CH one and turn your work, SC in the first st, CH 3, skip 3 sts, SC, *CH 3, skip 3 sts, SC *repeat entire row

Row 4: CH 3 and turn, DC 3 in the next chain space, 4th DC behind of the 3 made DCs, *DC 3 in the next chain space, 4th DC behind of the 3 made DCs *repeat entire row; DC in the last st.
