342 – Easy Crochet X-Twist Headband Tutorial

You will need:
Total Yarn 50 g / 130 m/ 142 yds (medium)
Hook Size 5 mm (US H/8, UK 6)
Size:
Width: 11 cm / 4.2 in
Length: 54 cm / 21.2 in
Terminology:
st – stitch
sts – stitches
CH – chain
SC – single crochet stitch
HDC – half double crochet stitch
DC – double crochet stitch
Instructions:
To begin make 20 chains or any multiple of 3 + 2
Row 1: skip chain and make SC in every chain across. Total 19 SCs.
Row 2: CH 2 and turn; SC + HDC + DC in the first st, *skip 2 sts, SC+ HDC + DC in the next st *repeat this process to the last three stitches, skip 2 sts, SC into the last st.
Row 3 = Row 2
Continue repeat Row 2, until you measure it to be 54 cm/21.2 in or as much as you need.
If you need a different size, make more or fewer rows.
Last row = CH 2 and turn, SC in every stitch across
Join first and the last row.
Use your yarn and sew the first and the last row.
