267 – Crochet Stitch Tutorial – Cross Over Stitch

To crochet this pattern, you will need to know how to crochet:
1) chain stitch
2) single crochet stitch
3) double crochet stitch
4) double treble crochet (yarn over the hook three times)

To do this You will need:
You can use any yarn and hook you have or love.

Terminology:
st – Stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet stitch
DTC – double treble crochet (yarn over the hook three times)

Instructions:

To begin make chains (multiple of 4 plus 2).
Row 1: Skip chain one and make single crochet stitches (SC) entire row. SC multiple of 4+1. Turn your work.
Row 2: chain two, skip 3 stitches and make DTC (double treble crochet – yarn over the hook three times) in the next st; DC into the first skipped stitch, DC into the second skipped stitch, DC into the third skipped stitch, *skip 3 st, DTC in the next st; DC 3 into the skipped 3 stitches, *repeat this process entire row. DC one into the last stitch. Turn your work.

Row 3: chain one and make SC entire row. SC multiple of 4+1. Turn your work.

Repeat Rows 2 – 3
