You will need:
I used 300 g of cotton yarn (6 balls of green yarn. Each ball (50g) contains 131 yards/ 120 m)
Hook Size 3,5 mm
Scissors
Tape measure
Stitch markers
Sewing needle
Terminology:
st – stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet (yarn over the hook once)
HDC – half double crochet
TC – treble crochet (yarn over the hook twice)
Shell – TC 5 Shell (TC 5 in one stitch)
Shell – DC 5 Shell (DC 5 in one stitch)
Size: Large (L)
Width = 52 cm / 20,5 inches
Length = 55 cm / 21,6 inches
Instructions:
To begin, it’s necessary to make a chains. Multiple of 5 + 4
I’m going to make 99 chains (for size L)
If you need a different size, feel free to either add or subtract from this chain number.
Different sizes:
size XS = 69 chains
size S = 79 chains
size M = 89 chains
size L = 99 chains
size XL = 109 chains
size XXL = 119 chains
Multiple of 5 + 4 for all sizes.
First, I’m going to make piece one (FRONT)
Row 1: skip chain 3 (CH 3 as first st); DC in the fourth chain; DC to the end row; Total 97 stitches (CH 3 as first st and 96 double crochet stitches)
Row 2: CH 4, skip 2 sts, Shell (TC 5 Shell), skip 4 sts, Shell *skip 4 sts, Shell *repeat this process; skip 2 sts and TC in the last stitch.
Row 3: CH 3, DC in the next st, DC to the end row. Total 97 stitches.
Row 4: CH 4, skip st, DC, *CH 2, skip st, DC *repeat this process to the end row
Row 5: CH 3, DC 2 in the first chain two space, *DC in the chain two space *repeat this process. Total 97 stitches.
Do the first row once. Rows 2 – 5 repeat multiple times
Pattern = Rows 2 – 5
Rows 6 – 37: Repeat Pattern
If you need a different size, feel free to either add or subtract from this row number.
Shoulder pieces (FRONT)
Row 1: CH 3, skip 2 sts, DC5Shell, skip 4 sts, DC5Shell, skip 4 sts, DC5Shell, skip 4 sts, TC5Shell, skip 4 sts, TC5Shell, skip 4 sts, TC5Shell, skip 2 sts, TC
Row 2: CH 3, DC in the next 13 sts, HDC in the next 7 sts, SC in the next 11 sts.
Row 3: CH, SC in the first st,
*CH 2, skip st, SC *repeat 5 times;
*CH 2, skip st, HDC *repeat 3 times;
*CH 2, skip st, DC *repeat 7 times; DC in the last st.

Make 37 rows as on FRONT.

*CH 2, skip st, SC *repeat 5 times,
*CH 2, skip st, HDC *repeat 3 times,

Row 41:
CH, SC in the first st

The back is now done.
Connect the shoulder pieces. Use the sewing needle and yarn.
Measure 19 cm / 7,5 inches from the top (on both sides) and put the stitch marker.
Connect the front and back pieces with sewing needle and yarn.
Edges – neck: Make one row of single crochet stitches.
Edges – armhole –
Row 1: single crochet around the armholes.
Row 2: double crochet around the armholes.
