240 – Crochet Summer Top Tutorial – All Sizes

You can see Step by step instruction and video tutorial how to crochet a summer top – blouse. Easy to make. I’ll crochet my Blouse in a circle.
I will show you how to make a size M.
You need to know how to crochet Chain Stitch, Single Crochet and Double Crochet stitches.

You will need:
Hook Size 3 mm
Scissors
Tape measure
Stitch markers
Cotton Yarn 300 g (6 balls of yarn. Each ball contains 126 yds/ 115 m)

Size: M Width = 46 cm /18 in Length = 58 cm / 23 in

Terminology:
st – stitch
sl.st. – slip stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet

Instructions:

Make a combination of colors that you like.
I used 3 colors of yarn.
To begin, it’s necessary to make 168 chains (size M).
Different sizes:
size XS = 150 chains
size S = 159 chains
size M = 168 chains
size L = 177 chains
size XL = 186 chains, 192 chains
size XXL = 198 chains, 207 chains
Multiple of 3 for all sizes.

Size M:
First, I use a light blue-colored yarn
Make 168 chains. Connect the first and last chain with a slip stitch. We’ll crochet in a circle.
Rnd 1: chain 3, double crochet stitch (DC) in the next chain, make DC to the end row. Total 168 st. Connect with a slip stitch.
Rnd 2: CH 3, DC in the next st, CH, skip st, *DC 2, CH, skip st *repeat to the end row. Connect with a slip stitch.
Rnd 3: CH one, single crochet stitch (SC) in the first st, SC in the next st, SC in the chain one space, *SC 2, SC in the chain one space *repeat to the end row. Total 168 SC. Connect with a slip stitch.
Rnds 2 – 3 = Pattern
Repeat pattern 13 times. Total 27 rows of light blue-colored yarn.
Rnd 28: Switch to a white -colored yarn.
Repeat pattern 4 times. Total 8 rows of white-colored yarn.
Rnd 36: Switch to a dark blue-colored yarn.
Repeat pattern 6 times. Total 12 rows of dark blue-colored yarn.
Rnd 48: Switch to a white -colored yarn.
Repeat pattern 4 times. Total 8 rows of white-colored yarn.

Shoulder Straps

Switch to a dark blue-colored yarn.

Row 1: CH 3, DC in the next st, *CH, skip st, DC 2 *repeat to the second stitch marker. Turn your work.
Row 2: CH one, SC in the first st, SC in the next st, SC in the chain one space, *SC 2, SC in the chain one space *repeat to the end row. Total 20 SC. Turn your work.
Rows 1 – 2 = Pattern
Repeat pattern 19 times. Total 38 rows of dark blue-colored yarn.
It’s up to you to determine how many rows you want to make for the shoulder strap.
Once you’ve completed the first shoulder strap, You’ll repeat the process for the other shoulder strap.
Connect the shoulder strap with the back of the blouse. Use the sewing needle and yarn.
