224 – DIY Crochet Simple Slippers Tutorial

You can see step by step instructions and video tutorial how to crochet very simple slippers. This is a very simple crochet pattern worked primarily using single crochet stitches.
You need to know how to crochet chain stitch and single crochet stitches.

You will need:
Hook Size 3,5 mm
Scissors 
Sewing needle
Green and yellow-colored yarn: 150 g
Each ball contains 126 yds / 115 m

Size: Adults – 24 cm / 9.5 inches
Size of shoes:
EUR & CN = 38-40
US = 6.5 – 7.5
UK = 4.5 – 5.5

Terminology:
st – stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet 

Instructions:
First we’re going to use a yellow-colored yarn.
To begin make 45 chains (Size: 24 cm / 9.5 inches).
For a longer or shorter slippers, do a few chains more or less.

Row 1: skip first chain and make SC to the end row. Total 44 SC. Turn your work.

Switch to a green-colored yarn.
Rows 2 – 3: CH; make SC in the back loops to the end row; Total 44 SC. Turn your work.

Switch to a yellow-colored yarn.
Rows 4 – 5: CH; make SC in the back loops to the end row; Total 44 SC. Turn your work.

Switch to a green-colored yarn.
Rows 6 – 7: CH; make SC in the back loops to the end row; Total 44 SC. Turn your work.

Rows 8 – 43: repeat Rows 4 – 7
Row 44 (last row): Use a yellow-colored yarn. CH; make SC in the back loops to the end row; Total 44 SC. Turn your work.

You’re going to make rows until slippers wide enough to wrap around your foot.

This pattern is stretchy enough and very comfortable.
