You will need:
Hook Size 5,5 mm
Yarn 100 g
Ball 100 g contains 219 yards / 200 m
Size: adult
Width = 25 cm / 9.8″ Length = 19 cm / 7.5″
Terminology:
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
Rnd – round/row
CH – chain stitch
DC – double crochet
FPDC (Front Post Double Crochet)
BPDC (Back Post Double Crochet)
BPDC2tog – BPDC 2 together
Instructions:
To begin make 66 chains (Multiple of 3). Length 50 cm
Connect first and last chain with a slip stitch.
We’ll crochet in a circle.
Rnd 1: CH 2, DC in the first chain, DC in the next 65 chains. Connect with a sl st. Total 66 DC.
Rnd 2: CH 2, BPDC (Back Post Double Crochet) in the next two stitches, FPDC (Front Post Double Crochet), *BPDC in the next two stitches, FPDC *repeat to the end row.
Connect with a sl st. Total 66 stitches.
Rnds 3 – 17: Repeat Rnd 2
Rnd 18: We’ll reduce the number of stitches in this row.
CH 2, BPDC2tog, FPDC, *BPDC2tog, FPDC *repeat to the end row.
Connect with a sl st.
Rnds 19 – 20: CH 2, BPDC in the next stitch, FPDC, *BPDC, FPDC *repeat to the end row.
Alternate between BPDC and FPDC.
Connect with a sl st. Total 44 stitches.
