You will need:
Hook size 3,5 mm
Yarn 200g (4 x 50g)
4 balls of white Cotton Yarn. Each ball contains 50 g, 120 m /131 yds
Size: M-L
Bra Cup B
Terminology:
st – Stitch
CH – Chain Stitch
SC – Single Crochet
DC – Double Crochet
Shell stitch – 6DC Shell with CH-2 space (3DC+2CH+3DC in one space)
Instructions:
Start 15 chains (For larger size make 16 or 17, 18, 19, 20 chains)
Row 1: CH, SC 15 Turn your work.
Row 2-16: SC 15
Row 17: Add two more stitches in this row. SC 14, SC 3 in the last stitch. This is a corner. Then continue to make SC 15 in the other side of square. In every of 15 rows make one SC. Total SC 32. Turn your work.
Row 18: Don’t add stitches. CH, SC 32
Row 19: SC 15, 2 SC in one stitch, SC 16 to the end row Total SC 33
Row 20: CH, SC 33
Row 21: SC 16, 2 SC in one stitch, SC 16 to the end row Total SC 34
Row 22: CH, SC 34
Row 23: SC 17, 2 SC in one stitch, SC 16 to the end row Total SC 35
Row 24: CH, SC 35
Row 25: SC 17, 2 SC in one stitch, SC 17 to the end row Total SC 36
Row 26: CH, SC 36
Add more stitches in a corner.
Add two more stitches in the Row 17.
Add one more stitch in the Rows 17, 19, 21, 23 and 25. That is for Bra Cup size B.
If you need a larger size then continue to add loops in rows 27, 29, 31 ….
Rows 27 – 36: Crochet as Row 26. No add loops. Total SC 36
Make two identical pieces.
Last Rnd: Crocheting in a circle
⦁ first side: CH, SC2, CH2, *SC2, CH2 * repeat entire row, corner: CH3
⦁ second side: *SC *repeat entire row
⦁ third side: *SC *repeat entire row. Continue to make cord. 80 chains. Row 1: just slip stitches
Make 36 chains on one side and 37 chains on the other side.
Connect two pieces and make one row of double crochet stitches (total of 145 stitches in a row). The number of stitches must be divisible by eight + 1.
Lace Pattern
Row 1: CH3, skip 3 st, Shell st (DC3+CH2+DC3 in one stitch), skip 3st, DC
*skip 3st, Shell st, skip 3st, DC *repeat entire row
Row 2: CH6, SC in chain space, CH3, DC over DC, *CH3, SC in chain space, CH3, DC over DC *repeat entire row
Row 3: CH3, DC3 over CH3, DC over SC, DC3 over CH3, DC over DC, *DC3 over CH3, DC over SC, DC3 over CH3, DC over DC *repeat entire row Total stitches 145.
Rows 4 – 12: Repeat Rows 1 – 3
Row 13: In this row add 32 more stitches.
CH3 and DC in same stitch
DC2 in the next stitch
DC in the next two stitches
DC2 in one stitch
*DC4, DC2 in one stitch *repeat to the last five stitches
DC3, DC2 in one stitch, DC2 in the last stitch
Total 177 stitches (DC 176 + CH 3 as one stitch).
