131 – How to Crochet a Messy Bun Hat

This step by step tutorial will show you how to crochet a MESSY BUN HAT. Hope you enjoy these features.
You need to know how to crochet Chain Stitch (ch), Single Crochet (sc), Double Crochet (dc), Puff Stitch  (Puff st).
Puff Stitch represents a group 2 of incomplete stitches into the same stitch. When you finish crocheting the partial stitches you will then close the stitch by pulling the yarn through all of the loops that are remaining on the hook.

You will need:

Hook Size 5mm
Used yarn 70 g
2 balls of orange Yarn. Each ball contains 50 g, 142 yds/ 130 m
1 m = 1,0936 jardi (yds)

Size:
Width: 56cm / 22“

Terminology:
ch – Chain Stitch
sc – Single Crochet
dc – Double Crochet
Puff St  – Puff Stitch

Instructions:
Start 64 chains
Pattern 1
Rib
Rnd 1-6: 1ch, sc, sc, sc… repeat entire Rnd; tie it together, Total 64 sc
Pattern 2
Rnd 1: 3ch+2dc in one stitch, *skip 2sc, Puff stitch, 2ch, Puff stitch, 1ch, skip 2sc, (3dc+2ch+3dc) in one stitch* – repeat entire Rnd
Rnd 2-6: 3ch+2dc in one stitch, *Puff stitch, 2ch, Puff stitch, 1ch, (3dc+2ch+3dc) in one stitch* – repeat entire Rnd
Rnd 7: 3ch+1dc in one stitch, *Puff stitch, 2ch, Puff stitch, 1ch, (2dc+1ch+2dc) in one stitch* – repeat entire Rnd
Rnd 8: 3ch+1dc in one stitch, *Puff stitch, 1ch, (2dc+1ch+2dc) in one stitch* – repeat entire Rnd
Rnd 9: 3ch+1dc in one stitch, *Puff stitch, 1ch, 2dc in one stitch* – repeat entire Rnd
