162 – Crochet Flower with 10 Petals

You will need:

Hook Size 2,5 mm
Cotton Yarn: beige 50 g/120m
Ball of yarn contains 131 yds/ 120 m

Size: 5 cm /2 “

Terminology:
st – Stitch
ss – Slip Stitch
ch – Chain Stitch
sc – Single Crochet
dc – Double Crochet

Instructions:
Make 10 single crochet stitches around the strand of yarn.
Make one petal from each single crochet stitch.

Petal 
2ch;
1dc in the next stitch;
2ch;
Make four dc stitches along the double crochet’s side;
Slip stitch to the original st;
Keep doing this around.
Do all the petals in the same way. At the end should have 10 of these petals.
Now, the flowers petals are in a messy so let’s fix this.
Make 2ch, turn to the back of the flower, find the chain space and slip stitch in it.
Then 2ch again, find the chain space of the next petal and slip stitch in it.
Keep doing this around the entire back to straighten out the petals. For the last one 2ch and slip stitch through the first 2ch.
