Instruction:

To begin make chains.

Foundation chains: Even number

One color of yarn

Row 1: Skip a chain and make one single crochet stitch in the second chain. Make SC one in each chain across.

Row 2: CH one and turn, SC in the first stitch,  CH one, skip stitch one and make SC, *skip CH, SC *repeat this process to the end of the row

Another color of yarn

Row 3: CH 3, DC2tog in the first chain space, *CH one, DC2tog in the next chain space, *repeat the entire row except for the last stitch; DC in the last st.

Row 4: CH one and turn, make SC in the first stitch, CH, *SC in the next chain space, CH *repeat entire row except for the last stitch; SC in the last st.
