You will need:
You can use any yarn and hook you have or love.

Terminology:
st – stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet (yarn over the hook once)
TC – treble crochet (yarn over the hook twice)
Crossed st – 2 crossed TC with 2 chains
DC3tog – These stitches are made by partially completing 3 DC stitches and then completing them. DC stitches are all made in the two chain spaces. When you finish crocheting the partial stitches you will then close the stitch by pulling the yarn through all of the loops, except for the last. Now, you have 2 loops on the hook. Make one loop from them.

Instructions:
To begin, make 15 chains or any multiple of 3
Row 1: skip the chain, SC to the end row. Total 14 SC.
Row 2: CH 4; Make crossed stitches to the end row. How to make a crossed stitch? Skip two stitches and make one TC in the next stitch. Make 2 chains. Then you’re going to make TC in the first skipped stitch working behind the previous stitch. Repeat this process to the end of row except for the last stitch. Make TC in the last stitch.
Row 3: CH 4, DC3tog in the next two chain space, *CH 2, DC3tog in the next two chain space *Repeat this process to the end of row except for the last stitch; CH and DC in the last stitch.
Row 4: CH 4; Make crossed stitches to the end row. Skip chain space and make TC in the next chain space; CH 2; TC in the skipped chain space, working behind the previous stitch. Repeat this process to the end of row except for the last stitch. Make TC in the last st.

Rows 1 – 2: make once these rows
Rows 3 – 4: repeat these rows several times
