284 – Easy Crochet Lace Shell stitch Tutorial

I used Shell stitches. Easy to make. This pattern You can use for a blouse, vest, scarf, poncho, and many other things.

You will need:
You can use any yarn and hook you have or love.

Terminology:

st – stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet
5DC Shell – DC 5 in one space

Instruction:

Make chains (multiple of 8 + 2)
I’ll make 26 chains.

Row 1: skip CH, SC in the second chain, *CH 5, skip 3 chains, SC *repeat entire row; turn

Row 2: CH 5, SC in the third chain, 5DCShell over SC, SC in the third chain, *CH 5, SC in the third chain, 5DCShell over SC, SC in the third chain *repeat this process; CH 2, DC in the last SC

Row 3: CH, SC in the first st, CH 5, SC in the middle of the Shell, *CH 5, SC in the third chain, CH 5, SC in the middle of the Shell *repeat this process; CH 5, SC in the third chain; turn

Row 4: CH 5, SC in the third chain, 5DCShell over SC, SC in the third chain, *CH 5, SC in the third chain, 5DCShell over SC, SC in the third chain *repeat this process; CH 2, DC in the last SC
