You can see step by step instructions and video tutorial how to crochet very simple cute socks. This is a very simple crochet pattern worked primarily using double crochet stitches.

You will need:
Hook Size 3,5 mm
Scissors
Stitch markers
Yarn 150 g
2 balls of yellow cotton yarn
1 ball of green cotton yarn
Each ball contains 126 yds / 115 m
Size: Adults – 24 cm / 9.5 inches
Size of shoes:
EUR & CN = 38-40
US = 6.5 – 7.5
UK = 4.5 – 5.5
Terminology:
st – stitch
SSt – slip stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet
DC3tog – DC 3 together
DC2tog – DC 2 together
Instructions:
Now use a green-colored yarn.
To begin make 4 chains in a circle.
Rnd 1: 2 chains (CH), 13 double crochet stitches (DC), Total 13 DC. Connect with a slip stitch.
Rnd 2: 2 CH, *2 DC in the next stitch *repeat to the end row, Connect with a slip stitch. Total 26 DC
Rnd 3: Add an extra 9 loops.
2 CH, DC, 2 DC in one stitch, *DC in the next two stitches, 2 DC in one stitch *repeat to the end row. Connect with a slip stitch. Total 35 DC.
Rnd 4 – 18: Now switch to a yellow-colored yarn.
2 CH, DC in the next 35 stitches. Connect with a slip stitch. Total 35 DC.
For a longer or shorter sock, do a few rows more or less.
HEEL
Now I’m going to crochet a heel.
Place stitch markers on both sides.
Use a green-colored yarn.
Row 1: 3 CH, 17 DC to the next stitch marker.
Row 2 – 5: 3 CH, 17 DC to the end row.
Continue to work around.
Rnd 1: 3 CH, 2 DC + 2 DC + 2 DC + 2 DC + 2 DC; Continue to make double crochet stitches. 2 DC + 2 DC + 2 DC + 2 DC + 3 DC. Connect with a slip stitch.
Connect a heel with slip stitches.
Switch to a yellow-colored yarn. Continue to make double crochet stitches (3 rows)
Switch to a green-colored yarn. Crochet SC stitches (2 rows)
