Terminology:
st – Stitch
sk – Skip
rpt – Repeat
tog – Together
sq – Square
Rnd – Round
ch – Chain Stitch
sc – Single Crochet
dc – Double Crochet
dc2tog – Double Crochet 2 together
6dc shell with ch-2 space (3dc+2ch+3dc in one space)

Instruction:
Pattern 1
Start 90 chains in a circle (do soft, loose)
Rnd 1: 1 ch, 90 sc
Rnd 2-6: 3 ch, 90 dc2tog, ss. tie it tg, Total 90 dc2tog
Rnd 7: 3 ch, 90 x 2dc in one st, Total 180 dc + 3ch = 181 stitches
Rnd 8-14: 3 ch, 180dc Total 181 stitches
Rnd 15: In this row add 3 more stitches
3ch, 2dc in one st, 89dc, 2dc in one st, 44dc, 2dc in one st, 44dc
Total 184 stitches

Pattern 2 
Rnd 1: 3ch, sk 3st, 6dc shell with ch-2 space, sk 3st,
*1dc, sk 3st, 6dc shell with ch-2 space, sk 3st* repeat entire Rnd
Rnd 2: 6ch, sc, 3ch, *dc, 3ch, sc, 3ch* repeat entire Rnd
Rnd 3: 3ch, 3dc, dc over sc, 3dc, *dc over dc, 3dc, dc over sc, 3dc* repeat entire Rnd
Rnd 4 – 12: Repeat Rnd 1 – 3
Rnd 13: as Rnd 1

First, crochets the cord.
