To crochet this pattern, you will need to know how to crochet
1) chain stitch
2) double crochet stitch and
3) treble crochet stitch

You will need:
Hook Size 5 mm (US H/8, UK 6)
Total Yarn 200 g / 400 m / 436 yds
Ball (50g) contains 100 m/ 109 yds (medium)
Size:
Width: 25 cm / 10 inches
Length: 150 cm / 59 inches
Terminology:
st – stitch
sts – stitches
CH – chain stitch
DC – double crochet (yarn over the hook once)
TC – treble crochet (yarn over the hook twice)
Instructions:
To begin chain 44 or any multiple of 9 + 8
Row 1: skip chain 3 (CH 3 as first st); DC in the fourth chain; DC in the next four chains, CH 5, skip 3 CH, DC in the next six CHs, *CH 5, skip CH 3, DC in the next six CHs *repeat this process to the end row
Row 2: CH 7 and turn, TC 3 in the next chain five space, CH 5, TC 3 in the same chain five space, *TC 3 in the next chain five space, CH 5, TC 3 in the same chain five space *repeat this process; CH 4 and TC one in the last stitch
Row 3: CH 8 and turn, DC 6 in the next chain five space, CH 5, *DC 6 in the next chain five space, CH 5 *repeat this process to the end row; DC one in the fourth chain
Row 4: CH 8 and turn, TC 3 in the first chain space, *TC 3 in the next chain five space, CH 5, TC 3 in the same chain five space *repeat this process; TC 3 into the last chains space, CH 5, TC one in the fourth chain
Row 5: CH 3 and turn, DC 5 in the first chains space, CH 5, *DC 6 in the next chain five space, CH 5 *repeat this process to the end row; DC 6 into the last chains space
Do the first row once.
Rows 2 – 5 repeat multiple times
Pattern = Rows 2 – 5
Repeat Rows 2 – 5
Continue repeat pattern, to be a total of 150 cm / 59 inches
If you need a different size, make more or fewer rows. Measure on your body.
Edge – around the scarf
Make one row of single crochet stitches around the scarf.
