You will need:

Yarn 200 g / 840 m / 916 yds
Ball (50g) contains 210 m / 229 yds
Hook Size 3.5 mm (US 4)

Size: M
Width = 43 cm / 17 in
Length = 56 cm / 22.1 in

Different sizes:

XS = 71 chains
S = 77 chains
M = 83 chains
L = 92 chains
XL = 104 chains
XXL = 116 chains

Multiple of 3 plus 2 for all sizes

Terminology:

st – stitch
sl.st – slip stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet stitch
DC – double crochet stitch (yarn over the hook once)
3DCShell – 3 DC in one stitch

Instructions:

FRONT

To begin, chain 83 or any multiple of 3 plus 2
If you need a different size, feel free to either add or subtract from the beginning chain number.

Now use a blue-colored yarn.
Row 1: Skip 3 chains and make 3 double crochet stitches in the fourth chain (3DCShell), skip 2 chains, 3DCShell, *skip CH 2, 3DCShell *repeat this process (except for the last chain); make DC in the last chain. Turn your work.

Row 2: CH3, skip 3 sts and make DC 3 in the first space. Make DC 3 in each space across. DC in the last st. Turn your work.

Switch to a grey-colored yarn.
Row 3: CH3 and make DC 3 in the first space. Make DC 3 in each space across. Make DC 4 in the last space. Turn your work.

Row 4: CH3, skip 3 sts and make DC 3 in the first space. Make DC 3 in each space across. DC in the last st. Turn your work.

Change back to blue-colored yarn.

Row 5: CH3 and make 3 DC in the first space. Make 3 DC in each space across. Make 4 DC in the last space. Turn your work.

Row 6: CH3, skip 3 sts and make 3 DC in the first space. Make 3 DC in each space across. DC in the last st. Turn your work.

Keep changing colors in this way.
Continue to change the color of the yarn every two rows.

Continue repeat rows 3 – 4 in the same way, to be a total of 42 rows.
Width = 43 cm / 17 in
Length = 38 cm / 15 in

If you want, you can make more rows to make the top longer.

Count 8 stitches from the beginning of the row and put the stitch marker in the 9th stitch. Repeat the process on the other side.
We’ll continue to repeat the pattern between two stitch markers.

Change the color of the yarn and make 8 slip stitches. From the 9th stitch, we continue to repeat the pattern until the second stitch marker.
Row 43: slip stitch in the 9th st, CH 3, make DC 3 in the first space. Make DC 3 in each space across. Actually all the way to the second stitch marker. Make DC in the stitch where the marker is. This is the last stitch in this row. Turn your work.
Row 44: CH3 and make DC 3 in the first space. Make DC 3 in each space across. Make DC 4 in the last space. Turn your work.

Continue repeat pattern in the same way, to be a total of 53 rows.
Continue to change the color of the yarn every two rows.

Now We are going to make shoulder straps

Count 13 stitches from the beginning of the row. Put the stitch marker in the 14th stitch. Repeat the process on the other side.

Shoulder straps

Row 1: CH3 and make 3 DC in the first space. Make 3 DC in the next three spaces. Make DC 4 in the last space. Turn your work.

Row 2: CH3, skip 3 sts and make DC 3 in the first space. Make DC 3 in the next three spaces. DC in the last st. Turn your work.

Repeat Rows 1-2 until we have a total of 9 rows.

It’s up to you to determine how many rows you want to make for the shoulder strap.
Once you’ve completed the first shoulder strap, You’ll repeat the process for the other shoulder strap.

FRONT is done

Both parts of the blouse are the same. FRONT = BACK

Use your yarn and sew two pieces together at the shoulder.
Sew on the right side.

Use your yarn and sew two pieces together.

I’ll make the edge (one row of single crochet stitches).

Edges

Row 1: CH and make one SC in each stitch across.
