315 – Crochet Crossed Stitches Pattern Tutorial

You can see Step by step instructions and a video tutorial on how to crochet a very simple and cute cross stitch pattern.
This pattern can use for a blouse, vest, scarf, poncho, and many other things.
To crochet this pattern, you will need to know how to crochet chain stitch, single crochet stitch, and double crochet stitch.

You will need:
You can use any yarn and hook you have or love.

Terminology:
st – stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet stitch
Crossed SC sts – 2 crossed SCs (Skip stitch and make SC in the next stitch. Then, make SC in the skipped stitch working in front of the previous stitch.)
DC – double crochet stitch (yarn over the hook once)
Crossed DC sts – 2 crossed DCs (Skip stitch and make DC in the next stitch. Then, make DC in the skipped stitch working in front of the previous stitch.)

Instructions:

To begin make chains. (Multiple of 2 + 1)
I’m going to make 11 chains (Multiple of 2 + 1)

Row 1: skip chain and make SC entire row. Total 10 SC. Turn your work.
Row 2: CH, SC in the first st, Crossed SC sts entire row except for the last stitch, SC in the last st.
Row 3: CH 3, Crossed DC sts entire row except for the last stitch, DC in the last st.

Rows 2 – 3 = Pattern
Repeat Pattern
