You will need:
You can use any yarn and hook you have or love.
Terminology:
st – stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet stitch
DC – double crochet stitch (yarn over the hook once)
Instructions:
To begin, make chains (Multiple of 6 + 3)
I’m going to make 21 chains (Multiple of 6 + 3)
Row 1: Skip chain (CH) and make single crochet stitches (SC) in the next two chains, *CH 4, skip 4 sts, SC in the next two sts *repeat entire row.
Row 2: CH one and make SC sts entire row; SC 2 over SC 2, SC 4 in the chain 4 space, SC 2 over SC 2 (*SC 4 in the chain 4 space, SC 2 over SC 2 *repeat entire row). Total 20 SCs.
Row 3: CH 3, skip st, DC in the next two sts, CH 2, DC in the next two sts, *skip 2 sts, DC in the next two sts, CH 2, DC in the next two sts *repeat entire row except for the last two stitches; skip st and make DC in the last st.
Row 4: CH 5, SC 2 in the next chain two space, *CH 4, SC 2 in the next chain two space *repeat this process; CH 2, DC in the last st. (3th chain)
Row 5: CH one and make SC sts entire row
SC in the first st, SC 2 in the chain 2 space, *SC 2 over SC 2, SC 4 in the next chain 4 space *repeat this process; SC 2, SC into the 3th chain; Total 20 SCs.
Row 6: CH 4, DC in the next two sts, skip 2 sts, *DC in the next two sts, CH 2, DC in the next two sts, skip 2 sts *repeat this process; DC in the next two sts, CH one, DC in the last stitch
Row 7: CH one, SC in the first st; SC in the chain space, CH 4, *SC 2 in the next chain two space, CH 4 *repeat this process; SC in the last two chains
Row 8: CH one and make SC sts entire row (SC 2 over SC 2, SC 4 in the chain 4 space). Total 20 SCs
