You will need:
You can use any yarn and hook you have or love.

Terminology:
st – stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet (yarn over the hook once)
TC – treble crochet (yarn over the hook twice)
TC+DC+TCtog – These stitches are made by partially completing 3 stitches (TC+DC+TC) and then completing them. When you finish crocheting the partial stitches you will then close the stitch by pulling the yarn through all of the loops.
DC+TCtog – These stitches are made by partially completing 2 stitches (DC+TC) and then completing them. When you finish crocheting the partial stitches you will then close the stitch by pulling the yarn through all of the loops.
TC+DCtog – These stitches are made by partially completing 2 stitches (TC+DC) and then completing them. When you finish crocheting the partial stitches you will then close the stitch by pulling the yarn through all of the loops.

Instructions:
To begin, make 25 chains or any multiple of 7 + 4
Row 1: skip chain 3 (first stitch), DC entire row. Total 23 sts.
Row 2: chain one, SC entire row. Total 23 SCs.
Row 3: CH 3, DC in the next st, CH 2, TC+DC+TCtog, CH 2, DC, *DC in the next st,CH 2, TC+DC+TCtog, CH2, DC *Repeat this process to the end of row except for the last stitch. DC in the last st.
Row 4: CH 3, DC+TCtog, CH 2, DC, CH 2, TC+DCtog, *DC+TCtog, CH 2, DC, CH 2, TC+DCtog *Repeat this process to the end of row except for the last stitch. DC in the last st.
Row 5: CH 3, DC entire row. Total 23 sts.
Pattern = Rows 2 – 5
Repeat Pattern

  • I’m new to all this so I was having difficulty with your written pattern. I went to your video and saw different instructions. In your written ones you don’t explain the stitches that have to be skipped in order for pattern to work, you just say to do them together. I’m going to try again because I love your channel, thanks so much!
