You will need:
You can use any yarn and hook you have or love.
Terminology:
st – stitch
CH – chain stitch
DC – double crochet (yarn over the hook once)
TC – treble crochet (yarn over the hook twice)
Instructions:
To begin make chains (Multiple of 9 + 8)
I’m going to make 35 chains (Multiple of 9 + 8)
Row 1: skip chain 3 (CH 3 as first st); DC in the fourth chain; DC in the next four chains, CH 5, skip 3 CH, DC in the next six CHs, *CH 5, skip 3 CH, DC in the next six CHs *repeat this process to the end row; Turn your work
Row 2: CH 7, TC 3 in the next chain five space, CH 5, TC 3 in the same chain five space, *TC 3 in the next chain five space, CH 5, TC 3 in the same chain five space *repeat this process; CH 4 and DC one in the last stitch. Turn your work.
Row 3: CH 8, DC 6 in the next chain five space, CH 5, *DC 6 in the next chain five space, CH 5 *repeat this process to the end row; DC one in the last st. (in the fourth chain); Turn your work.
Row 4: CH 8, TC 3 in the first chain five space, *TC 3 in the next chain five space, CH 5, TC 3 in the same chain five space *repeat this process; TC 3 into the last chains space, CH 5, DC one in the last st. (in the fourth chain); Turn your work.
Row 5: CH 3, DC 5 in the first chain five space, CH 5, *DC 6 in the next chain five space, CH 5 *repeat this process to the end row; DC 6 into the last chains space; Turn your work.
Do the first row once. Rows 2 – 5 repeat multiple times
