Yarn: 100 g (3.5 oz) / 250 m (273 yards)
50% WOOL / 50% ACRILIC

Instructions:
Make 96 chains (Multiple of 4)
Connect with a slip stitch (sl st)
I made 96 chains to start. There are 22 stitches (DC) between corners.
If you start with different number of chain, the number of stitches (DC) between corners in the first row is:
100 chains = 23 DC
104 chains = 24 DC
108 chains = 25 DC
or
92 chains = 21 DC
88 chains = 20 DC
Rnd 1: 3 CH, DC into the first chain; DC in the next 22 chains, DC 2 in the next chain, 2 CH, DC 2 in the next chain, DC in the next 22 chains, DC 2 in the next chain, 2 CH, DC 2 in the next chain, DC in the next 22 chains, DC 2 in the next chain, 2 CH, DC 2 in the next chain, DC in the next 22 chains, DC 2 in the last chain, 2 CH; Connect with a slip stitch. Total 104 DC
Rnd 2: 3 CH, DC into the first stitch; DC in the next 24 sts, DC 2 in the next stitch, 2 CH, skip chain 2 and make DC 2 in the next stitch, DC in the next 24 sts, DC 2 in the next stitch, 2 CH, skip chain 2 and make DC 2 in the next stitch, DC in the next 24 sts, DC 2 in the next stitch, 2 CH, skip chain 2 and make DC 2 in the next stitch, DC in the next 24 sts, DC 2 in the last stitch, 2 CH; Connect with a slip stitch.
My Rnd 2 has Total 112 DC, 8 more stitches then Rnd 1.
Rnds 3-12: Repeat as Rnd 2. Each round has 8 stitches more than the previous round.
Rnds 13-20: On the sleeves we make a lace pattern and on the front and back we only do double crochet stitches. We work the corners the same way. Continue to add 8 more stitches into the each round.
Part of the sleeve: 3 CH, DC into the first stitch, *CH, skip chain, DC *repeat to the next corner, make a corner (DC 2 into the last stitch, CH 2, skip chain two space, DC 2 into the next stitch)
The front and back we only do double crochet stitches.
Repeat this process till the time you want to make 2 sleeves and body.
I did total 20 rounds (20 cm / 8 inches).
Each row has 8 loops more than the previous row.
If you need a different size, feel free to either add or subtract from this row number.
Front and back We do in around
Connect first and second corner with 5 chains.
Rnd 1: CH 3 (as first st), DC in the chain space and make DC stitches to the third corner (64 DC sts). DC 2 in the chain two space. Make DC 5. Connect third and fourth corner with DC st (it’s one stitch). And DC one in the chain two space. Then, make 64 DC sts. DC 2 in the chain two space. Finally, DC 5 in the chain 5 space. Connect with sl st. Total 146 stitches.
Width: 47 cm / 18,5,inches (94 cm / 37 inches bust)
Rnd 2 – 16: CH 3 (as first st) and make DC stitches to the end row. Connect with sl st. Total 146 stitches.
I made 16 rows. If you need a different size, feel free to either add or subtract the number of rows.
I will show you how to do the bottom edging.
Make ribbed stitches. Alternate between FPDC (Front Post Double Crochet) and DC.
I made 8 round.
Last Rnd: CH one and SC to the end row.
Sleeves
Rnd 1: from the middle of this place (under the arm), make the first stitch of the sleeve.
CH 4, skip stitch, DC, CH, skip corner, DC, *CH, skip chain, DC *repeat to the end row, chain one and Connect with a sl st.
Rnds 2 – 26: Lace pattern (skip st, DC, CH)
Now We’ll do the sleeve edging. We’ll do as the bottom edging.
Rnd 27: CH 3 and make DC over DC. Total 16 sts.
Make ribbed stitches. Alternate between FPDC (Front Post Double Crochet) and DC.
I made 9 round.
Last Rnd: CH one and SC to the end row.
Edges – neck: Make two rows of single crochet stitches.
Hello, can you tell me how to do this in a size small? I didn’t see any instructions for it?
Hello!
Check out the video in part 15:26
It’s up to you to determine how many rows you want to make.
To make sweater larger or smaller all you need to do is alter the number of rows! It’s a good idea to measure your work before you get too far along and try it on your body as well.
Thank you for this lovely pattern. What is the weight of the yarn you used? Is it a DK (#3) or thinner, like a lace or fingering weight?
Thank you. Looking forward to making this pattern.
