244 – Crochet Easy Lace Shell Pattern Tutorial (for a blouse, vest, scarf…)

Today I will show you how to crochet a Shell lace pattern. This pattern You can use for a blouse, vest, scarf, sweater and many other things. Easy to make.

You will need:
You can use any yarn and hook you have or love.

Terminology:
st – stitch
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet (yarn over the hook once)
V st. – DC 2 in one stitch
Shell – DC3 Shell (DC 3 in one stitch)

Instructions:
To begin, it’s necessary to make a chains. Multiple of 12 + 4
I’m going to make 28 chains (Multiple of 12 + 4)

Row 1: skip chain, SC in the next four chains, CH 2, skip CH 3, Shell, CH 2, skip CH 3, *SC in the next five chains, CH 2, skip CH 3, Shell, CH 2, skip CH 3 *repeat this process; SC 4
Shell = DC 3 Shell (DC 3 in one stitch)

Row 2: CH 3 (this is the first stitch); V st. in the next st; CH 2; SC 5 (SC 1 in chain space + SC 3 over Shel + SC 1 in chain space); CH 2, *Shell in the third SC; CH 2; SC 5; CH 2 *repeat this process; V st. in the third SC; DC in the last st.

Row 3: CH, SC in the next four stitches, CH 2, Shell in the third SC, CH 2, *SC 5, CH 2, Shell in the third SC, CH 2 *repeat this process; SC 4

Row 4: CH 3; V st. in the next st; CH 2; SC 5; CH 2, *Shell in the third SC; CH 2; SC 5; CH 2 *repeat this process; V st. in the third SC; DC in the last st.

Do the first and second rows once. Rows 3 – 4 repeat multiple times

Pattern = Rows 3 – 4
