Instructions:

Edge around the neck
Ribbed pattern

To begin make 7 chains.
Row 1: skip chain and make SC in every chain across. Total 6 SCs. Turn your work.
Rows 2 – 90: CH; make SC in the back loops in every stitch across; Total 6 SCs
Rows 90 = 60 cm / 23.4 in

Sew first and the last row with yarn and sewing needle.

Now, we’re going to crochet around the edges neck (body of sweater)

Slip stitch to the first row just to close the round.

We have 90 rows = 90 stitches (multiple of 3)
One row one stitch.

Rnd 1: CH 3 (as first st), DC 2 into the first row, CH, skip 2 rows, Shell (DC3Shell), CH *skip 2 rows, Shell, CH *repeat to the last 2 sts. Total 30 Shells. Slip stitch to the first st just to close the round.
Now, I’ll mark the corners.
5 Shells and put the marker (First corner)
5 Shells and put the marker (Second corner)
10 Shells and put the marker (Third corner)
5 Shells and put the marker (Fourth corner)
5 Shells remain until the end

Rnd 2: CH 4, Shell in the next chain space, CH, *Shell in the next chain space, CH *repeat to the First marker, Corner Shell (First corner), CH, *Shell in the next chain space, CH *repeat to the Second marker, Corner Shell (Second corner), CH, *Shell in the next chain space, CH *repeat to the Third marker, Corner Shell (Third corner), CH, *Shell in the next chain space, CH *repeat to the Fourth marker, Corner Shell (Fourth corner), CH, *Shell in the next chain space, CH *repeat to the last chain space, DC 2 in the last chain space. Slip stitch to the third chain just to close the round.

Rnd 3: CH 3, DC 2 in the first chain space, CH, *Shell in the next chain space, CH *repeat to the First corner, Corner Shell, CH, *Shell in the next chain space, CH *repeat to the Second corner, Corner Shell, CH, *Shell in the next chain space, CH *repeat to the Third corner, Corner Shell, CH, *Shell in the next chain space, CH *repeat to the Fourth corner, Corner Shell, CH, *Shell in the next chain space, CH *repeat to the end row. Slip stitch to the first st just to close the round.

Rnds 2 – 3 = Pattern
Continue repeat pattern, to be a total of 13 rows
If you need a different size, make more or fewer rounds.
Fold your work in half and connect two corners with a stitch marker on one side and then on the other.
Width = 54 cm / 21.2 in
Length = 20 cm / 8 in

Now we continue to work in a circle (body of sweater). Repeat pattern.
Make 20 rows.
Total rows 13 + 20 = 33 (43 cm / 17 in)

If you want, you can make more rows to make the sweater longer.

Bottom edging

Rnd 1: CH 3, DC in every stitch across except in chains.
Rnds 2 – 6 = Ribbed pattern (Alternate between FPDC and BPDC)

Sleeves

Continue to work in a circle. Repeat pattern.
Make 38 rows.
