You will need:

You can use any yarn and hook you have or love.

Terminology:
st – stitch
CH – chain stitch
sl st – slip stitch
SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet (yarn over the hook once)
Shell – DC + CH + DC + CH + DC in one stitch

Instructions:

To begin, it’s necessary to make chains (CH). Multiple of 5 plus 3
I’m going to make 18 chains. Multiple of 5 plus 3

Row 1: skip the chain, single crochet stitch (SC) in the next chain; SC entire row. Total 17 sts. Turn your work.

Row 2: CH 3, skip 2 sts, Shell (DC + CH + DC + CH + DC) *skip 4 sts, Shell *repeat entire row; skip 2 sts, DC into the last stitch. Turn your work.

Row 3: slip stitch (sl st) entire row except for the last stitch; SC into the last stitch; Turn your work.

Now switch to yellow- colored yarn.

Row 4: CH 3, skip 2 sl st, Shell *skip 4 sl st, Shell *repeat entire row; skip 2 sl st, DC into the last stitch. Turn your work.

Row 5: slip stitch (sl st) entire row except for the last stitch; SC into the last stitch; Turn your work.
Now switch to another colored yarn.

Repeat Rows 4 – 5

Changing colors
Row 1 : 3: green – colored yarn

Rows 4 – 5: yellow-colored yarn
Rows 6 – 7: red-colored yarn
Row 8 – 9: green–colored yarn
Keep changing colors in this way.
