You will need:
Hook Size 3 mm
Scissors
Tape measure
Yarn 250 g
5 balls of black yarn (or any yarn you have or love). Each ball contains 50 g, 142 yds/ 130 m
Terminology:
st – Stitch
CH – Chain Stitch st
SC – Single Crochet st
DC – Double Crochet st
Size:
Width = 40cm / 16″ Length = 150cm /59″
Instructions:
To begin it is necessary to make 66 chains (the number must be divisible by three)
Make 66 chains
Row 1: skip 3 chains; DC in the next 63 CH; Total 64 stitches. Turn your work.
Row 2: CH 5, skip 2 st, SC, *CH 5, skip 2 st, SC *repeat entire row.
CH 3, skip 2 st, DC in the last stitch. Turn your work.
Row 3: CH 3, DC 3 in chain space, *CH, DC 3 in chain space *repeat entire row. Turn your work.
Row 4: CH 3, DC 2, skip chain, *DC 3, skip chain *repeat entire row. DC 4 to the end row. Total 64 stitches. Turn your work.
Pattern = Rows 2 – 4
