181 – DIY Tutorial – Crochet Ribbed Beanie

This is a very simple beanie and easy to make. You need to know how to crochet the next stitches: Chain Stitch, Single Crochet and Double Crochet stitches.

You will need:
Hook Size 6 mm
Scissors
Tape measure
Yarn 2 x 50 g = 100 g
2 balls of orange Yarn. Each ball contains 82 yds / 75 m
1 m = 1,0936 jardi (yds)

Size: Adult
Width = 25,5cm /10″; Length = 21cm /8,25″

Terminology:
st – Stitch
SSt – Slip Stitch
Rnd – Round
CH – Chain Stitch
SC – Single Crochet
DC – Double Crochet
V-st – 2 DC in one stitch

Instructions:

Rnd 1: 3 chains (CH), 12 double crochet stitches (DC) into the center of the ring; Connect with a SSt; Total 13 stitches.
Rnd 2: 3 CH + DC in the first stitch, *V-st *repeat entire row; Connect with a SSt; Total 26 stitches.
Rnd 3: 3 CH, V-st in the next st, *DC, V-st * repeat entire row; Connect with a SSt; Total 39 stitches. If you make a child’s beanie, this will be the last round when you add stitches. After that, go to the fifth round.
Rnd 4: 3 CH, DC in the next st, V-st, *DC in the next two st, V-st *repeat entire row; Connect with a SSt; Total 52 stitches.
Rnd 5: chain 1, SC in the back loops in the next 52 stitches; Total 52 stitches in this round; Connect with a SSt and turn your work.
Rnds 6 – 19: repeat Rnd 5
Alternately – One row right side, one row wrong side
Rnds 20 – 22: just single crochet stitches

Attach the flower at the place where the circles are connected.
