Instructions:
Foundation for the first Solomon’s knot.
We are going to make chain 2 and then put a single crochet into the 2nd chain from the hook.
To begin the first Solomon’s knot. Pull up a loop. Grab the working yarn. Yarn over and draw it trough the loop on the hook. Insert the hook behind the strand of yarn in the back. The one that we are still holding. Yarn over and draw it through the 1st loop on the hook. There are now 2 loops on the hook. Yarn over and draw through both of the loops on the hook. Make a foundation row of Solomon’s knots in multiples of 2+1. Crochet 17 Solomon’s knots for the foundation row.
Row 1: Skip 3 Solomon’s knots and put a sc into the 4th sc from the hook. Then crochet 2 Solomon’s knots. Skip 1 sc and put a sc into the next sc.
Row 2: Crochet 3 Solomon’s knots and turn your work. Put a sc into the 5th sc from the hook and crochet 2 Solomon’s knots. Skip 1 sc and put a sc into the next sc.
Repeat Row 2 to continue crocheting more rows.
